Andrew and Courtney met at their Alma Mater Eastern University in intercultural communications class. He turned his chair around and said "Hi, I'm Andrew" and Courtney so proudly said "Oh, Andrew--you left my friend on read!" and the rest was history...or was it.... Andrew then asked to interview Courtney about her senior thesis for the Waltonian (EU's newspaper) and Courtney thought nothing of it — she just thought that Andrew thought her thesis was an interesting topic ;) A few days later Andrew asked Courtney if she would want to hang out and Courtney said "sure!" He then picked Courtney up in his classy red VW Passat and we ate at the Asian Bento Box Cafe in the KOP mall food court. Courtney talked most of the time and filled Andrew in on all her siblings and their life stories and Andrew sat there listening. Courtney thought Andrew was just a quiet guy but it turns out he was really REALLY nervous. Courtney really liked him but she was graduating in a few days and didn't want to do the hour "long distance". But she told her college roommates that if they were meant to be together they would end up together. Flash forward two years and we reconnected because of Courtney's instagram post of her and her family in Mexico and the rest is history :)
