Courtney and Andrew’s story is the classic boy meets girl love story – except, not at all. It all started when Courtney’s longtime friend, Erin (a.k.a. matchmaker #1) arranged for Courtney to meet the son of her other good friend, Denise (a.k.a. matchmaker #2). Erin found the perfect excuse for Courtney and Andrew to meet in 2019, when Courtney’s built-out van needed repairs, and Andrew and his dad, Larry, were the perfect duo for the job. When it came down to it, Courtney was too nervous to bring her home-on-wheels to the scheduled meet and greet, so Erin and Courtney just stopped by Andrew’s parents’ house. Everyone knew it was a setup except for Andrew. After awkward introductions, the conversation quickly turned to camping, hiking, and backpacking. Courtney later found Andrew on Facebook and the two spent the next few weeks getting to know each other. Their first official date was a hike to the top of Horsetail Falls followed by a beer at a local brewery. Andrew and Courtney have continued to share their love for adventure and tackling projects together ever since. Over the past 5 years, they have lived in two states, traveled to four states, adopted a cat and a dog, bought a home, and even hiked to the tallest mountain in the lower 48 (Mount Whitney). They are so excited to start this next chapter of their lives together.
