We love your kiddos—we really do! But due to space constraints (and the fact that we want you to have a night off!), we’re keeping the wedding adults-only, with the exception of a few tiny VIPs in the wedding party. If you have a ‘lap child’ or are currently nursing, reach out to us so we can discuss possible accommodations. We hope you can join us for a fun, kid-free celebration.
If your invitation says “and guest,” lists another name, or is addressed to “The ____ Family,” then yes, your plus-one (or crew) is invited! If not, we’re keeping things intimate and kindly ask that you fly solo this time. That said, if you’re not sure how your invite was addressed or have any questions, just reach out, we’re happy to clarify!
Our ceremony and celebration will be held outdoors at beautiful Convict Lake, surrounded by the Eastern Sierra mountains—so think mountain chic! We’d love for you to dress in elevated outdoor or dressy casual attire: dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates for women; button-ups, dress pants, or nice chinos for men. Feel free to add a little rustic flair if you’re feeling it (western hats, boots, etc.—mountain glam is welcome!). Heads up: We’ll be on natural ground (think grass, dirt, and gravel), so choose shoes that can handle the terrain. And since mountain weather loves to keep things interesting, we recommend layering—even in the summer, it can cool down quickly once the sun sets!
As per our friend, the mighty Google: Mountain chic is a refined yet relaxed style blending rustic, outdoor-inspired elements with sophisticated, modern fashion, often characterized by elevated, cozy fabrics suitable for a mountainous, often alpine, environment. This look bridges the gap between casual comfort and formal elegance. Really just think upscale outdoors. You got this, we’re just excited to see you and celebrate with you!
We recommend arriving by 3:30pm for the ceremony, which begins promptly at 4:00pm. This will give you ample time to find your seat, greet other guests, and ensure a smooth start to our special day.
Believe us, if it were up to us—two people who love to eat—we’d be rolling in snacks and secret cocktails all night long. But the venue’s got the final say, and outside food or drinks aren’t allowed in the restaurant or reception area. No worries though, because the food and drinks they’re serving are almost as good as our own stash would be!
You bet! The open bar will be pouring all night with plenty of your favorites, whether you want to get a lil’ boozy or you’re a Diet Coke fan (like us!). To keep safety in mind, our venue does not serve shots. We kindly ask you to keep it fun—but not too wild—as we are in the mountains by a lake. We want to ensure everyone can enjoy the fresh air, stunning views, and good vibes safely. Remember: pace yourself and try not to fall in the lake!
Absolutely! We want everyone to eat, drink, and feel great. Dinner will be served buffet-style, and we’ll do everything we can to have options to accommodate common dietary needs. If you have a food allergy or are vegan, please let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure there’s something tasty waiting for you. No one should have to dance on an empty stomach!
To RSVP, simply visit our wedding website's dedicated RSVP page and complete your response. We kindly request that you submit your RSVP by July 1st, 2026, to help us finalize our wedding arrangements.
Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find items on the Registry page of our website and amazon.com. Since we've been living together for a while, our gift selections are intentionally curated. We also welcome contributions toward our future house purchase or honeymoon if you're interested in helping us start our next chapter together.
For any questions or concerns, please feel free to text Courtney or Matt and we will do our best to answer.
