How it Started

From Facebook to "I Do"

Jayson and I attended the same high school but never knew each other. He had already graduated a couple of years before me. We first started talking on facebook after he said he added all the cute girls from his yearbook on facebook. His pickup line was "I must be the 1000th guy to say this in your inbox but you are beautiful." We messaged back and forth for almost two years. He finally asked me out the summer I graduated from high school. Unfortunately, I stood him up because of whatever reason. As fate would have it, we incidentally ran into each other at Quicktrip one day after I had got off of work. He was coming in town from college. Remind you we had never met in person. All I remember hearing is someone say "Courtney" and I look up to see this random but cute boy. I was confused because I did not recongnize him from facebook. He said, "I just texted you." Thats when I realize it was Jason. Needless-to-say, I did not stand him up the next time he asked me out.

The proposal

12/31/2016

It was New Year Eve, I, unfortunately, had to work the next day. I had come home from a wedding. Jayson had a candle-light dinner with take out Olive Garden all plated on the table. We sat down to eat, and he turns on our song "I Am Ready" by Alicia Keys. He pulled me from my chair, and we start slow dancing(awkwardly, lol). He spins me around, and when I came back around to him, he was on one knee. He said "Courtney Cecilia Brown, will you marry me." I said "About time." lol Just kidding. I responded, "yes, of course."

For all the days along the way
