Can we take an Uber from the Airport to our hotel?

Answer

No, you will need to arrange transportation to and from the hotel. Uber is easily available once in Cabo and San Jose. Unfortunately, for now the Mexican Government doesn't allow Uber in or out of the airport. You will need to book transportation to the hotel through a car service. We normally use Viator, which provides round-trip service.

Is Uber expensive in Mexico?

Answer

Uber is extremely cheap and easy to use and all drivers are super friendly! Please keep in mind, we are in Mexico and while some drivers speak excellent English, some hardly speak any English at all. We do recommend using an upgraded ride (seriously they are super cheap) as some basic rides may not have A/C.

How will we get to the Wedding Ceremony?

We’ve got you covered! Transportation to and from the venue is provided. The road there is unpaved—think of it as a tiny adventure before the main event. Don’t worry, you’re not being taken on a “mystery ride”… the gorgeous views and stunning venue at the end are 100% worth it!

Is there anything near the Viceroy?

Answer

Right outside the hotel, if you make a right out of the front gate and walk about 500 feet, you’ll find a small outdoor mall on the left with several boutique shops and restaurants. Across the street is the Cabo Azul Hotel, home to Javier’s, a great dining option. For something a little more lively, Chambao, a fun steakhouse with a show, is just a half-mile walk to the left outside the hotel gate. The area is very safe to explore on foot. La Comer, a grocery store, is about a 0.4-mile walk or a short Uber ride away. If you’re looking for more to see and do, Downtown San José del Cabo is just 1.5 miles away—a quick Uber ride from the hotel.

How far is Cabo from San Jose del Cabo?

Answer

The hotel is about 19 miles from Downtown Cabo San Lucas, an Uber will talk about 30 minutes. Cost with vary depending on time of day.

Where should we sit for the Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

A few seats will be reserved for our family, but beyond that, there won’t be any “sides.” Please feel free to sit wherever you like and make yourself comfortable!
