We met at the University of Arkansas at Monticello — not knowing at the time that a few ordinary days on campus would turn into the beginning of something unforgettable. It didn’t take long for us to cross paths, and once we did, everything just clicked. There wasn’t a big moment or dramatic spark — just an ease about being around each other that quickly grew into something deeper. From the beginning, we were simply ourselves together — and that made all the difference. We started spending more and more time together, whether it was hanging out after class, grabbing food, or just talking about everything and nothing. We didn’t try too hard. We didn’t need to. We just fit. Before we even realized it, we’d become inseparable. Over time, we found so many things we genuinely love doing together — like spending hours building Legos (yes, we’re those people), playing pickleball until it’s too dark to see the ball, and planning random little adventures just for the sake of it. But at the core of all of it is how much we simply enjoy being with each other — whether we’re out doing something or just in sweats on the couch with our dogs. Speaking of dogs, Bogey and Arlo are two of the biggest parts of our world. They keep us grounded, entertained, and constantly laughing. They’ve been with us through milestones big and small, and our little family wouldn’t be complete without them. Bogey brings the calm, Arlo brings the energy (usually), and both of them bring us so much joy. Our relationship has never been about doing life perfectly — it’s been about doing life together. And together, we've grown in ways we never expected. We’ve supported each other through long days, celebrated the wins, and found comfort in the little things — like late-night ice cream runs or driving around listening to music with the windows down. We’re so thankful for where life has taken us and for the people who have been part of our story along the way. As we look forward to our wedding day, it’s not just about one moment. It’s about all the moments that brought us here — and all the ones still to come.
