FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests dress in Semi-Formal attire. Pastels and floral designs are encouraged--think garden tea party!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you know anything about Courtnay, you know she lives by the motto "early is on-time and on-time is late". The chapel will be open at 3:30pm for guests to arrive, and the doors will close at 3:55. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm.

Question

Does the reception seriously end at 9:00???

Answer

No!! The tunes will most definitely be blasting well past 9pm! BUT the vibes of the evening will transition from "family friendly" to "frat party" at that time. Sooo, if seeing someone you've known since they were a baby or your new in-law or those you know in a more "professional" sense throwing it back and dropping it low to explicit music isn't on your agenda for the day, consider this your fair warning. We (and perhaps also our dignities) will not be offended if you call it a night :)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There are numerous parking lots located around Vorhees Chapel and Harold Newman Arena.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please let us know if you will be joining us no later than June 20, 2026. You can RSVP right here on our website.

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding? What about a plus one?

Answer

While we do want to share our special day with as many loved ones as possible, we also want to make sure we have adequate seating and account for the right number of guests for our caterer. The number of seats we have reserved in your honor will be indicated when you RSVP.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be having a Welcome Party on Friday, July 17th at Buffalo Lanes from 6:00-9:00pm. All are welcome!

Question

I’m straying over night, do you have a room block?

Answer

We do not have a specific hotel we want our guests to stay, but luckily no hotel in Jamestown is more than about 5 minutes away from our wedding location! Stay where ever suits your needs.
