Kimball Farm Westford
Nicole's family has been enjoying the ice cream at Kimball's since the 50's and the tradition continues. Originally an ice cream stand, Kimball's had added entertainment over the years (driving range, pitch & putt, mini golf, batting cages, etc.). If you go, we highly recommend splitting the banana split with several friends.
Dirigible Brewing Company
We love exploring new breweries. We visited Dirigible after exploring the venue at Gibbet Hill. If you're lucky there may be some live music playing.
Tree House Brewing Company - Tewksbury
Treehouse makes some of our favorite beers. They have recently opened a taproom in Tewksbury on a golf course. Tee-times are hard to come by, but if you like IPAs they are known as some of the best in the world!
Carlson Orchards, Inc
A favorite for hard and non-alcoholic cider lovers! Carlson Orchard also had a small farm store and pick-you-own apples. The drive to the orchard is beautiful in the fall.
Bancroft's Castle
Beautiful ruined castle just a walk away from Gibbet Hill
Mount Wachusett
We love hiking and this is one of our favorites close to our new home in Worcester! There are different routes to the top of varying lengths and difficulties. On clear days you can see the Boston skyline! There is cool antenna on a tower at the summit too! There are a few great breweries near by as well if you want to bring a can to the top or grab a drink after a hike.
