We’re getting married!

We went to the same high school but never "met". Fast forward 9 years and I'm sitting at the bar at my favorite hang out spot when I see Eric; a guy I went to school with and one of his friends. Eric and I started chatting and catching up when I realize I haven't introduced myself to his friend. I go to say "hi, I'm Courtney" when Eric's friend cuts me off and says, "I know who you are Courtney O'Quinn, my name is Jake Wheeler...we went to high school together." I was totally embarrassed and felt like a complete jerk for not remembering him, but he played it cool made a joke out of it. After a few times of bumping into each other at the same spot, we started to realize we had a lot in common and enjoyed the same things, maybe there could be more. Slowly but surely our friendship grew into a relationship and now we're getting married!
