Our story is a most unconventional one, but so are we🩵💙 We first met in late January of 2021. For those of you who truly know us…..you know the story. For others, we have had obstacles and challenges along the way but we made it and here we are! While we may not get the “forever” most do, we look forward to loving each other for as long as time allows. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For Courtney: She felt happiness, love and support that’s she’s never felt before. “I fell head over heels for Zana and strived to show her, make her feel and understand what it felt to be truly yourself and truly loved. I couldn’t ask for a better partner to have and to hold, until death do us part.” For Zana: She fell in love with a person who opened her eyes to what happiness truly was. She wasn’t worried about peer affirmation or traditionalist ideals….she wanted the rest of her days to be spent with someone who accepted her for who she was and she found that in Courtney. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you to those who have supported us on this journey. One of Zana’s favorite places to travel in Europe is London. While she was planning the perfect trip to show Court around London, Courtney was planning an epic surprise for Zana. Day two of the trip she took Court to Westminster Abbey. They were taking a selfie when Court asked a gentleman to take a pic of them…..or so Zana thought. Court had typed out “I am about to propose, will you please record it for me” and showed it to him. When she joined Zana for the pic, she stood beside her then took a step and dropped down on one knee. The rest is history 💙
