Where should we stay?
Answer
We have a hotel room block set up at The Courtyard by Marriott Richmond- Scott’s Addition location. See the Travel tab for more information on booking. There are also a number of hotels & Airbnb options available within a short drive.
Question
When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We appreciate if all guests can please return their RSVP by May 1st, 2024. We hope to see you all there!! If you already know you have a conflict that will keep you from attending, please reach out to let us know as early as possible.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes, please let one of us know on your RSVP or by texting the bride or the groom. If we don’t know, we can’t help!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Our wedding will be a predominately child-free day. Historic Tuckahoe Plantation is quite a large property and only has lighting in the venue area. We want our guests to kick back & relax without the worry of any little ones wandering off! We are happy to assist with local childcare options in the Richmond area if needed!

I had too much fun.... can I leave my car at the venue?
Answer
You are welcome to leave your car parked in the gravel lot at Historic Tuckahoe following the wedding. Please pick up all vehicles and possessions by 10am on Saturday. Let us know in advance if you are considering taking the shuttle at 10:30pm back to the downtown hotel. Ubers can be ordered to the venue, however, it can be hard to schedule a pick up if you wait to request the ride until the end of the night.

Are there transportation options?

Yes! We will have a shuttle that accommodates 25 guests picking up from the Courtyard Marriott at 3:30. We will also have a shuttle picking up from the venue at 10:30pm to return to the hotel. We will send a reminder to gauge interest in this option.

Hotel Parking?
Answer
If you are staying at the Courtyard Marriot, there is a paid lot you can leave your car in overnight. If you plan to leave your car near the hotel and take the shuttle, or if you plan to stop by for brunch on Saturday, the Courtyard Marriot can provide free daytime parking passes at the front desk.
