Leadville is a small town we recommend to book a place to stay early on. We booked a few hotel blocks noted below.
Flight
For out-of-state guests, we recommend to fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) and rent a car from here or hop in a friends! Leadville is roughly a 2 hour drive from Denver.
Travel Note
Leadville is the highest city in America at an elevation of 10,200 feet. We are excited to celebrate with you, however note that high elevation can affect some people, especially those coming from lower elevations. To help you enjoy the festivities to the fullest, we encourage you to: Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water. Especially the days leading up to your travel. Be Mindful of Alcohol: Pacing is key! The effects of alcohol can be stronger at higher altitudes. Take it Easy: Avoid strenuous activity, upon arrival. Allow your body time to adjust to the altitude. Listen to Your Body: If you experience symptoms of altitude sickness (headache, nausea, dizziness), please rest and consider descending to a lower altitude.
