Ever changing. Always amazing. Where culture, science, and nature collide, Balboa Park is home to more than 16 museums, multiple performing arts venues, lovely gardens, trails, and many other creative and recreational attractions, including the San Diego Zoo.
This a beautiful park with lots of great views. It is about a 20-minute drive from Pacific Beach. It gets busy on the weekends. We recommend going early.
This is a large tourist area. But it's worth walking around for the experience.
This is a cool area to explore! We've never done the kayak tour but have heard it's fun. This is a walkable area with shops and restaurants.
