We met in September 2015, our junior year of high school, in math class and it didn't take long for us to realize there was a connection. Soon after we met we went on our first date ("that wasn't a date") to TopGolf, a date I will surely never forget. Jacob made it his goal to make me laugh the entire time, and he definitely succeeded. A month later we shared our first kiss in the parking lot of our high school, a story I never let Jacob live down. He waited for me to get out of soccer practice and he tried to surprise me at my car, but I freaked out and jumped in the front seat, making him lose his nerve. We then sat and talked for hours until our parents called and made us go home. We got out of the car to hug and Jacob kissed me...then ran away. He got in his car and drove off before I could say anything. It took another month before he asked "so, is this official?" on November 8th, 2015. We have since graduated high school together and attended SFA together. Finally, on May 31st, 2021 Jacob asked me to marry him and I accepted, but not without double-checking that he was sure of his decision first... We have loved each other through ups and downs and through everything life has thrown at us. We have chosen to love each other each day and will continue to choose to love each other for the rest of our lives. We can't wait to share this day with our family and friends. So, let the adventure begin!
