We're Getting Married!

It was May 21st of 2017 when my line sisters went out to celebrate their graduations. We had just crossed into our Sorority (Sigma Gamma Rho) a couple of months before and we were eager to go clubbing together. We arrived at The Promontory ready for a night of drinking and dancing. Once we made our way to the section- it happened. I was introduced to the Ques but more specifically, the now love of my life, DJ. He opened a tab, bought drinks for my line sisters and I, and we talked the whole night. The next morning, he facetimed me, and by the end of the conversation, we were enamored with one another. From then on, we went back to our respective campuses and forged our own independent pathways, but we've never left each others hearts. Now here we are almost 6 years later excited to celebrate our love with friends and family. I'd always heard people say, "You're Never Going to Meet Your Future Spouse at the Club", well, I'm happy to say we debunked that myth.
