What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is scheduled for 4:15 PM. We ask that you arrive at the Indiana Statehouse with 5-10 minutes to spare.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire. For our late-winter wedding, suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear a long, midi, nice cocktail dress, or a nice pantsuit. Indiana's weather can feel sporadic, especially in March. This means it might be really cold or unseasonably warm - we recommend bringing a jacket just in case

Where should we park?

Answer

At the Indiana Statehouse, there is free parking provided in the lot attached to the building. For 600 EAST, there is free parking across the street at RJE Business Interiors, 621 E Ohio St.

How do I get to the events? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are providing a shuttle service from the ceremony at the Statehouse to 600 EAST for the cocktail hour. Starting at 9PM, we will also have shuttles every 30 minutes from 600 EAST back to our hotel block at the Hilton Indianapolis City Centre.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, drinks are on us! But if you're able, we recommend bringing some cash to tip our amazing bartenders.

What food will be served at the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We'll be serving passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by dinner inspired by our favorite Southern comfort foods and dessert. If you have dietary restrictions, please make sure to let us know when you RSVP.
