FAQs

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by August 24th so we can plan accordingly!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the welcome party, we invite you to dress in cocktail attire. The wedding day is fall formal attire. Gentlemen should opt for dark suits and ties, while ladies should wear long or ankle-length dresses, or a stylish pantsuit. Given our outdoor venue, we suggest block heels for comfort.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. Please plan to arrive 20 in advance.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the welcome party and wedding?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided for both the welcome party and the wedding, but only from/to the Hampton Inn and for our wedding party staying in Hewitt House. Please see the Travel tab for departure times. If you plan on staying elsewhere, please schedule an uber in advance. Rideshares are available, but limited.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is limited attended parking on site at Hewitt Oaks but we advise caution if driving. The road into the venue is quite long and bumpy, privately owned, and not maintained by Hewitt Oaks. We encourage our out of town guests to either take provided transportation shuttles or schedule rideshare services.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! But this is an adult only event.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Dinner will be a dual-plated surf and turf. If you have an allergy or restriction, please let us know in your RSVP and our chef will accommodate your needs.

Question

What is the wedding party wearing?

Answer

Bridesmaids will be in a palette of raspberry and olive tones. Groomsmen will be in classic tuxedos. While we're sharing this to help with outfit planning, we warmly invite guests to choose any color (except white, of course!) that makes them feel beautiful and confident.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we cannot accomodate additional guests. Plus-ones and partners will be indicated on your invite and when you go to RSVP.
