Hotel
We have pre-booked all of the rooms and will request the payment from you guys closer to the wedding in April (for those at the vineyard- parents/siblings/majority of wedding party). The vineyard will hold up to 17 people so there is a bed and breakfast that those not staying at the vineyard can stay at, there are a few close hotels, and plenty of Air BnB spots close.
Flight
If you fly into Rome, you can fly into Catania for around $50 (see website linked) If you are in the wedding party, you NEED to be at the vineyard starting at 2 pm on Friday the 24th (the rehearsal is probably around 4pm that day) . Closest airport is the one in Catania (Catania Fontanaross Airport). You can find some decent prices from the states, but if you are travelling to a larger destination beforehand, flights to Catania are pretty cheap from most large airports in Rome. If you need help finding flights, feel free to reach out to us directly. The vineyard has parking so if you want to rent a car, at least make it a fun italian one. Taxi is also an option, but it's usually recommended to bargain for a price beforehand, or pre-book a shuttle from the airport. If enough people arrive around the same time we can schedule a larger shuttle.
