Otto's Pub and Brewery

Otto's Pub and Brewery

This is one the closest restaurant options to the listed hotels. Lots of options & craft beer!

The Field Burger and Tap

The Field Burger and Tap

1 Country Club Lane, State College, PA 16823

This is another really close option to the hotels & Zac claims this is the best burger in State College. Plus who doesn't love table fries.

Hike Mount Nittany

Hike Mount Nittany

500 Mount Nittany Road, Lemont, PA 16851

One of the most popular hiking trails in Centre County - and definitely more of a workout than you would expect. There are lots of different trails but be careful in the summer - this is a known rattlesnake sighting spot!

Nittany Lion Shrine

Nittany Lion Shrine

Burrowes Rd, State College, PA 16801

If you've never been on Penn State's campus, walk up to Rec Hall & take a picture with the Nittany Lion shrine!

Way Fruit Farm

Way Fruit Farm

2355 Halfmoon Valley Road, Port Matilda, PA 16870
, (814) 692-5211

Located in Port Matilda, this is a year-round farm store with the BEST local food. Check out the bakery in the back of the store & https://happyvalleyagventures.com if you're interested in learning more about Centre County's farm heritage.

Bellefonte

Bellefonte

Bellefonte, PA 16823

Our first apartment together was in Bellefonte (15 minutes from State College)! Victorian Bellefonte is fun to explore and Tallyrand Park is an easy walking loop with Big Spring Spirits right next door. Axemann Brewing is one of our favorite restaurants and there are a ton of antique stores (Plaza Centre definitely #1).
