Friends to Spouses
I was just happy to be working at the same place as my best friend, Donesha. She got me hired at Kroger. On my first day, Darrell was the one who had to train me. His first words to me “I love a girl in a uniform!” And the rest was history. We have created a beautiful family together. We have 5 beautiful girls! About 13 years later through the good and bad times we are ready to become one!
How did you first meet?
Good ole Devington Kroger! He trained me on my first day!
Who made the first move? How?
He made the first move when he asked Donesha to put him on!
Who's going to take out the trash?
Definitely him! But I will.
What was your most memorable date?
We went to North Carolina to a Panthers football game!
What's your favorite activity together?
We love to watch sports, grocery shop, and binge watch tv shows
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We are still deciding, but it is either Key West or St. Lucia
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
We love to eat so that’s a hard one! We love to try new restaurants! But anywhere we can find good chicken wings!
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
My sister’s dirty 30 trip to Denver
We’re on the same page about
The parenting style we want with the girls. We also are on the same page about still letting each other be us. We will never let each other lose sight of who we are, and the purpose God gave us in life.
A life goal of ours
Getting closer to God individually, and as a couple! We will strive to keep him first! Moving south! Building a forever home for our girls!
The most spontaneous thing we’ve done
We got 10 dollar tattoos on 30th birthday trip in Las Vegas!
