Flashback to fall of 2016. Jennifer was a student at UNC Charlotte. Tyler was a student at NC State and took a weekend trip to Charlotte with his friends. Tyler and Jennifer were both focused on their studies, not really looking for a relationship. But that night, events led to both of them being at a little college bar near UNC Charlotte that neither of them had ever been to before. When Jennifer got to the bar, she immediately wanted to leave. It was loud and crowded. She only went because her friend wanted to go and she wanted to make sure her friend stayed safe. But that quickly changed when Tyler introduced himself within a minute of her getting there. They talked the entire night, literally until the bar closed and kicked them out. They exchanged numbers and continued to text until 5am that morning. Little did they know, they had just met the person they would be spending their entire life with!
