WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Gabe and I met back in September of 2015, after sharing some messages through a dating site. I was reluctant at first because he's an Islanders fan, and I'm a Rangers fan. It wasn't long before his charm won me over. Fate would have it that that night would lead us to forever. We dated for a few months but the timing wasn't right. A year later, thanks to a hysterical gif that Gabe tagged me in, we reconnected and have been inseparable ever since. Our first trip away as boyfriend and girlfriend was to Buffalo, NY (to catch a hockey game of course). We ate authentic buffalo wings, checked out a local brewery, and fell in love. That first year brought us our first apartment together, our first Friendsgiving, my first pair of hockey skates (and subsequent bruises), Gabe's first Renaissance Faire, new jobs and job titles, and countless memories. To celebrate our one year anniversary, Gabe surprised me with a trip back to Buffalo. Once we arrived we unloaded, grabbed our skates, and went to the outdoor rink across the street from our hotel. After skating a few laps, everyone began to clear the ice. I turned around to tell Gabe we should probably get off since the zamboni's coming out. Much to my surprise, he was on his knee. After all the "are you serious" and "oh my god" remarks, I said, "OF COURSE!". We've started this next chapter in our lives with our first home and a move to St. Louis! We can't wait to keep the good times rolling and become Mr. & Mrs.!
