Are there other wedding-related events taking place?

Answer

YES! There will be a group golf outing on the morning of Thursday September 30 and a 'welcome reception' at 7:30 that evening. See 'Schedule' tab for details. There will also be an impromptu beach 'gathering' Friday mid-morning at The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island. Kid-friendly, volleyball, bars, restaurants - you name it!

What's the connection to the Hilton Sandestin Resort & Spa?

Answer

Bennett's family has been part of the ownership group since the property opened in 1984. This is their special place in the panhandle.

How far is it from the Hilton Sandestin to the ceremony and reception site in Shalimar?

Answer

Between 25 and 29 miles according to Google Maps. With construction and traffic almost always being a factor, plan for an hour drive either way. What is the wedding attire?

Answer

We're calling it 'Beach Chic!' Not black tie or backyard BBQ, but somewhere in-between (no jeans, please). Think sandals (flats or wedges are encouraged), flowing fabrics, and fun southern/beachy touches.
