In February 2023, John bought a house in New Jersey, and together they worked to turn it into a home. From painting walls and choosing fixtures to bringing their shared vision to life, it was a true labor of love. By November, Olivia made the move official, trading her Pennsylvania license for a New Jersey one and starting their next chapter side by side. Their adventures since have taken them from Cape May to Charleston and across the Atlantic to Ireland. Each trip has been another reminder of how much they love discovering new places together. The summer of 2024 brought a new kind of joy when they welcomed Franklin, their energetic “furry son,” into their lives. His name is a nod to North Franklin Street, where John lived when they first met. That December, during a quiet walk through Wissahickon Valley Park—a favorite place where they often talked about their dreams and future—John proposed. To celebrate their engagement and three wonderful years together, John and Olivia finally made Olivia’s long-awaited trip to Japan a reality. After two canceled attempts in college, experiencing it together made it all the more meaningful.
