Filling prescriptions, answering the constant phone calls, checking people out at the registers, listening to that damn bell at drive thru, making sure people get the customer service they want, leaving with the positive message "Happy and Healthy" can only mean one thing...Walgreens. There was always something about that store that connected people in some way....and well...we found the love of our lives. Working in a busy pharmacy you see and talk to a lot of people but I'll never forget the day I saw the love of my life. I was running around the place like a chicken with my head cut off but once I saw Casey the world around me stopped. My face turned beat red, I smiled, then darted off back to work. I thought to myself, "Why didn't I say hi...?" I felt like I'd never see him again. Little did I know, Casey and my former Walgreens manager, Pierre, were best friends. Pierre would come up and ask me questions just to fill Casey in. Those two always have some kind of plan going on. Once I got home from work I saw I had a message from the one and only Casey Coulter. With butterflies in my stomach I opened it and it said, "How was work, it looked a little busy." Creeper. Of course I replied and we talked for a bit. He came into my Walgreens a few days later just to "buy cat food". (Mind you, he lived 20 minutes away) This time I found the nerve to talk to him as much as I could. We then planned a day to hang out and go to a small Fall festival. Driving to his apartment for the first time I was so nervous that I turned into the wrong parking lot. First time hanging out and I look like a dumbass. I went inside his apartment and met his cat, Tagan. (She was the real reason I stuck around) We left and went on a great first adventure. We drove around, explored old stomping grounds, ate caramel apples, drank some beer, and just enjoyed each other. We ended up sitting on a bench for awhile talking about life, laughing and smiling, and really the rest is history...
