We met on a dating website. We both were the first person each other went on a date from this website. Chelsea got to Daily Planet first and then Josh walked in. Chelsea remember's thinking "Wow he's handsome!" Josh remembers the dress Chelsea was wearing and thinking how beautiful Chelsea looked.

We started a road trip and Chelsea wasn't sure where we were going. We drove to the White Mountains in New Hampshire to Franconia Notch. When we got there we hiked to a romantic spot called "The Basin." At the base of the beautiful waterfall at this site is a granite pothole 20 feet in diameter. It is believed to have been eroded 15,000 years ago while the North American ice sheet was melting. The Basin has been smoothed by small stones and sand, whirled around by the Pemigewasset River. Below the Basin is a water-eroded rock formation called the Old Man's Foot. When we got to the Basin Josh was telling Chelsea how it was created as she had never been there before. All of a sudden Josh reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. He got down on one knee and said, "Chelsea Couillard will you make me the happiest man and marry me?" Chelsea said "YES!" After the proposal we walked along the path a bit further and saw another beautiful little waterfall and cute little snowman lining the trail. That wasn't the end of the surprises though. Josh had another surprise in mind. We walked back to the car and Josh suggested we go grab a bite to eat for dinner as we had plans for later. We went to a cute inn near by for dinner. After dinner we drove to Lincoln, NH and went to the Ice Castles. Josh and Chelsea had always wanted to go but every year something always seemed to come up that stopped them.
