Yes! Hotel Walloon offers complimentary valet parking for all guests staying at or visiting the property. You can also self park across the street in the parking lot designated for hotel guests.
Late September in northern Michigan is typically mild and beautiful. However, evenings can be chilly, especially near the lake, so we suggest bringing a light layer or jacket just in case.
Semi-formal An elevated, relaxed look for an evening lakeside gathering. Cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or jumpsuits are perfect. Men may wear a dress shirt with slacks or a sport coat.
We kindly ask that our ceremony be an unplugged moment. We have a professional photographer capturing every detail (including you!), so we invite you to be fully present with us. Please keep phones and cameras put away during the ceremony to allow for an uninterrupted experience and to ensure our photos are beautifully captured.

No outside alcohol is allowed at any of the events. Hotel Walloon has strict policies in place, and bringing in your own alcohol could result in a fine to us as the hosts. Thank you for understanding and helping us stay in compliance with our venue’s rules.

No transportation is needed. The ceremony will be held at the Hotel Walloon and the cocktail hour and reception will take place at the Village Green Park, which is conveniently located next door and within easy walking distance.
