Nope, you're welcome to book another hotel or Airbnb if the Wayside doesn't work for you. We do ask that you look into staying at the Wayside first, as we have reserved the entire building.
Dressy casual? We're thinking pants and button downs/polos for men and casual dresses for women.
We're providing dinner on Friday and dinner on Saturday. Breakfast is provided at the Wayside Inn with your room reservation. For other food options, checkout the Things To Do section.
Cocktail to formal wedding attire. We're at a ski area and brewery, but we still want to be fancy! (Here's a link if you're Type A like the bride and groom! https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet)
It's early fall in New England, so really anything. Most likely low 60's, and hopefully sunny skies. Rain is a possibility, so packing a rain jacket and an umbrella would be a good idea for the Ceremony. There is an indoor option if the weather is awful, but it will still be outside if there's light rain.
Guests are asked to car pool to the Ceremony at Loon and back to the Wayside Inn.
Loon recommends that guests arrive between 1:00 and 1:15pm. It's a 15 minute gondola ride to the summit and peak foliage season, so there could be a lot of leaf peepers there as well!
When guests arrive at Loon, they should go to the gondola (NOT the Kanc8 chairlift), which is to the left side of the parking lot when you arrive. Tell the attendants that you're there for the Hayes-Coughlin wedding and you'll receive your ticket up!
Starting at 3:45pm a shuttle will run between the Wayside Inn and the Pint House at Reklis. We expect there to be multiple trips to get to the reception and if guests would like to return to the Wayside Inn prior to 9:00, the bus will be parked across the street in the basketball/skate park lot. We'll also likely need multiple trips to get back to the Wayside Inn from the recpetion. There is limited parking at Reklis, so guests not staying at the Wayside Inn are also welcome to park at the Inn and use the shuttle as well!
