Megan is Lauren's sister-in-law. They actually went to school together but didn't know each other until Megan started dating Gavin, Lauren's older brother. One of the most distinctive memories Lauren has of Megan is when Gavin got upset with the two of them for eating garlic knots in the car before they got home from the restaurant. This was the moment that Lauren knew she had found one of her platonic soulmates.
Fletcher Gibson
Best Man
Fletcher is Carter’s younger brother. To try to say more would require writing a book, but I couldn’t think of a better best man, and I’m honored to have him as mine. This is also the only time I don’t speak in the third person in these intros, so enjoy reading about my friends -Carter

Casie and Lauren are childhood friends. They went to the same schools until college. They fell out of touch and reconnected when Lauren moved to Knoxville and randomly ran into each other at a local gym. When they hang out, vibes could be described as "man-eater" energy.
Joseph Rutherford

Joseph and Carter met in 6th-grade band class and continued being friends through high school band. After high school, Joseph moved to Knoxville and Carter became his roommate two years after that. If you look closely, you’ll see a scar above Carter’s left eyebrow. That was caused by Joseph throwing a microphone stand at the floor and it bouncing through the air to split Carter’s head open. He had to get 12 stitches that day.

Tabitha and Lauren are cousins and close friends. They grew up playing softball together, running around their grandparent's house/yard, and being menaces to the older cousins. Funny story about Tabitha, she is the one that pushed Lauren to talk to Carter again (third time's the charm). If it wasn't for her, they probably would not have ended up together.
Ben Peters

Ben and Carter met when they were in elementary school, they rode the same bus together. They didn’t become close friends until later in high school and after, where they went on hikes and went to the gym together frequently. Carter fondly calls him PP, due to his initials being BP, which sounds very close to PP. And PP is just funnier.
Kelley Kindle

Kelley and Lauren met in high school and became close through their mutual classes and other shared interests. Kelley was one of the first people to show Lauren what good music is and how cool Marvel movies actually were. They quickly realized how similar their interests were and they still remain true friends to this day.
Gaige Wallace

Gaige and Carter met in middle school but didn't become close friends until after high school, when they would carpool to Knoxville to hang out with Joseph (Before Carter moved in with him) Fun fact about Gaige, he’s had that magnificent beard since 7th grade, where he was the envy of all pre-pubescent boys.
Gillian Paulsen

Gillian and Lauren met in high school and Lauren realized what true confidence and boldness looked like. Through her fashion sense, humor, and caring heart, Gillian is truly one of a kind and Lauren is super thankful for their friendship. One of Lauren's favorite memories that she has with Gillian is when they decided to get food at Sonic, sing songs, and drive around. After an hour of doing this, they realized they had accidentally driven all the way to Virginia.
Hunter Smith

Carter and Hunter met through Fletcher. Fletcher and Hunter played football together and would hang out, and through that Carter and Hunter became close friends, because Fletch drools. Thats why Hunter broke Fletcher’s finger during practice once.

Harper and Lauren met through their other halves. Harper is married to Jonny, and they both will occasionally come to spend time with Carter and Lauren in Knoxville (where Jonny originally met Harper) Fun fact: Carter and Lauren got their baby kitty Perry from the couple, and Carter and Lauren love her so much!
Jonny Almen

Jonny is Carter's longest childhood friend. They met in 4th grade and have been friends ever since. They can be seen fondly looking into each others eyes from across the room
Lindsey Burrell

Lindsey and Lauren met when their older brothers played baseball together. They didn't become close friends until high school. Lindsey was truly Lauren's partner in crime when Lauren was still living in Kingsport. This ranged from late-night shenanigans, impulse shopping, and bad decisions.
Jacob Smith

Jacob (Smitty) and Carter became friends in high school through Jonny, and being on the same Cross Country team. They often play xbox together with Jonny and his brother Jax. Smitty can be seen looking fondly at Jonny, while Jonny and Carter look into each other’s eyes.
Candice White

Candice and Lauren met in high school in culinary class and have stayed close friends to this day. Candice is one of the most compassionate, empathetic humans Lauren has ever met. Some of the best memories that Lauren has with Candice are dancing together while out with friends, having long talks after their classes at Northeast State Community College, and being able to catch up with each others lives like no time has passed.
Isaac Yankee

Issac or “Yankee” was a part of Carter’s friend group in high school and into college. They often hung out and went to the gym together, and even to a few beach trips. They once had a psychology class together, where they would sit in the back of the class and talk about how weird psychology was.
