Those that know Weston and Cat might think the start of their story began with a dance floor and honky tonk music…. but that was not the case for our favorite dancing duo. The couple were first introduced circa 2018 in Vernon, Texas. Weston made his impression by smacking his paper plate on her head in the pizza line of school meeting. Despite Weston’s lack of grand gestures, the couple stayed good friends for a year after they met.  At a rodeo dance in Vernon is when things began to progress. Weston mustered the courage go ask her to dance. He preceded to twirl her around the dance floor as the band played “Green Snakes on the Ceiling”. Romance carried them through the air  with each dip and twist. All was well with the world until, WHAM!! Weston twirled Cat a little too hard and launched his elbow right into her eye. Whether it be fate, divine providence, or Cat’s impaired mental state in the moment, the couple became official later that August. Cat and Weston have not only drastically improved their dancing since then, but they have grown in love through the highs and lows that life has presented them in the years since. With the permission of both Cat’s parents, Weston finally asked Cat to be his forever on March 30, 2024. The couple cannot wait to celebrate with their closest friend's and family this November.
