Despite living on different islands, Matt and Dina found each other through the magic and wonder of online dating. It is believed that their geographic signals crossed while Dina was in Massapequa Park for a book club with friends. Matt was living only a few towns over in his Levittown home. After matching, their first exchange sounded a little bit like this: "Hi Matt! I'm pretty heavy-handed with the ketchup, so I think we'll get along well :)" Take it from us that there was a perfectly good reason why condiments were a relevant conversation starter. And from there, it was history. Matt and Dina's early dates included Long Island destinations like Long Beach Boardwalk, Round One, and Wantagh State Park, as well as Staten Island hotspots like Clove Lakes Park, the Staten Island Zoo, and Beans and Leaves. Oh, and plenty of Ralphs Italian Ices. It did not take long for the pair to fall in love and muse about their future together. From playing pickleball to riding bikes to replaying Nintendo classics like Paper Mario, Matt and Dina simply love being together. On 11/11/24, Matt asked Dina to marry him while bike riding on the River-to-Ridge Trail in New Paltz, NY. (And she said yes, of course!) The couple is happy and excited for this next chapter in their story, and they are eager to celebrate with their beloved family and friends!
