Jen is my little sister and built in best friend. She's fearless when I'm careful, bold when I'm quiet, and she's taught me more about love and joy than she knows. She's my opposite in all the very best ways. Even though she's the younger one, I truly look up to her. She always shows up for the people she loves. Jen knows me better than I know myself, and I'm so lucky to have her as my maid of honor!

Olivia is my cousin and basically another sister of mine! She is one year younger than me, so we pretty much have done all of life together. I literally do not know life without Olivia in it. She is like me with that eldest daughter energy. She is an amazing baker (seriously you should see her beautiful cakes and cookies she makes!) and is probably the kindest person you'll ever meet. Fun fact: we have matching tattoos!

Emily is Ryan's little sister, but has been like my own little sister for a long time now. When Ryan and I figured out we had sisters that are the same age, I knew I had basically won the lottery. She has the biggest heart, is incredibly smart, and I can't wait to *officially* have her as my sister too!

Sammy is one of my life-long friends! We met in kindergarten and literally spent entire weeks together during summers. Sleepovers, makeovers, playing barbies, going to the movies...we were girls together. Her friendship means the world!!

Adri is Ryan's cousin (but more like Ryan's sister). She is the most down to earth person and keeps it real 100% of the time. She's the best hype-girl around and is absolutely hilarious. Adri's one of the strongest people I know and she is so fun to be around!

Brenna is one of my best friends! We met in middle school and really grew close in high school! From theater, band, and choir we spent a ton of time together. Then to spring break in Hawaii and visits at MSU and WSU, she's been here for me through it all! Fun fact: Brenna has the prettiest singing voice!

My best man is my brother Roy — He has been by my side for every chapter of my life. He’s the kind of guy who shows up for you without hesitation, I know big bro will be there. He is the most loyal, funny, and caring older brother anyone could ask for. He’s the person who’s always pushed me, looked out for me, and opened the door to so many of the things that shaped who I am today. He’s the one who brought me into new experiences, new friendships, and new memories that I’ll carry forever. He’s been my teammate, my rival, my biggest supporter, my best friend... My day one, my brother Roy.

Keaton and Roy have been friends since birth so naturally I grew up with Keaton as an older brother too. He blends into our family so naturally that it’s hard to picture any stage of life without him in it. Keaton has never changed in my view. Over the years he’s been a constant: he shows up, sticks around, brings a mix of loyalty, laughs, and a comfortable presence you only get from someone who’s grown up right alongside you.

Wyatt is one of the founding members of “the boys.” I became the newest addition about five years ago when Roy asked if he could bring his little brother to the dunes — and from that day on, Wyatt treated me like part of the crew. He and the guys have been like older brothers to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for it. Wyatt is a riot — always cracking everyone up, always making sure the good times keep rolling. He’s the ringleader, “the boss,” the Cabinet Kid, Barney B… He’s Wyatt. One of a kind.
Ethan Merritt

Ethan where do I even begin.... This guy is one of the funniest people I know. Him and I met at MSU and quickly became best friends. We both cherish our time at MSU because of the adventures we had and the memories we made. The Adventures of Ethan and Ryan should be a reality TV show. Walking the streets of East Lansing singing and dancing to Billie Jean is just one example. He is truly one of my favorite people and he always knows how to party.

Brenden has been my best friend since elementary school — he's always has the best one liner ready, he's down to earth, he's one of my closest friends and the kind of friend you grow up with, change with, and still somehow stay perfectly in sync with. No matter how much time passes between hangouts, it always feels like not a single day has gone by. It speaks volumes about who he is and how solid our friendship has always been.

My new brother-in-law John. Everyone thinks that Jenna (Ashley's sister) is the comedian of the Cotey family. However, John never fails to make me laugh. He is someone who is so genuine, thoughtful, and so easy and fun to be around. I am truly gaining an amazing brother who I couldn’t be happier having stand with us on such an important day.

Lyla is Ashley's youngest cousin, and the most beautiful, bubbly, 7 year old! The picture I chose is obviously her as a baby...but come on I couldn't resist, look how cute!!! She loves gymnastics, and always supports her 3 big brothers by going to their hockey games. She's excited to dance on wedding day and is taking her flower girl duties very seriously! So excited to have her with me on my wedding day!
