Bar Harbor
This is the beautiful tourist spot where Aaron proposed. We love to come here are walk along the rocky beaches. Bar Harbor is a summer staple for those traveling to Maine. It is an hour drive from Bangor. Here you can visit all the local shops, eat local ice cream, go whale watching, eat a fresh lobster, and pick up on some local lingo!
Cadillac Mountain
Allison took Aaron here for his first summer trip to Maine and the views are priceless. You can choose to either hike or drive up the mountain. Either way the views are breath taking! It is the first place in the United States to see the sun rise. If you are traveling to Maine early please message us for a potential hiking trip.
Sea Dog Brewing Co
A great spot for dinner and a drink! Allison's personal favorite is the blueberry ale with fresh blueberries.
Hero's Sports Grill
Our favorite local sports bar and restaurant. Great food and drinks!
Stephen King House
A quick visit just to say you did it! Come drive by the famous author's house featuring spooky fences and haunting landscaping.
Maine Discovery Museum
For those traveling with any young ones, this is a must-do!
Bangor Escape Rooms
We've had many dates in Escape Rooms and loved each of them! This stop is a great way to spend an hour working your brain.
Mason's Brewing Company
This brewery is just down the street from our house! In the summer you can sit outside with the dogs.
