-We are non-smoking but offer two spots for smoking only. -Only park in the designated areas. -Drug Free. -No firearms. -No fireworks. -Only WMI staff can build and light fires. -Only swimming/boating at the waterfront when a lifeguard is on duty, no night swimming and no drinking at the waterfront. -No use of the Ropes Course without a licensed staff member. -No hard liquor. -Staff only areas and kitchen are off limits to guests and vendors (clearly marked).
If you are staying overnight, here are some suggested items that you may find helpful during your stay: -bathing suit! The beach area will be open for most of the day on Saturday. Keep those fingers and toes crossed for beautiful September weather. -flip flops. These will be convenient for the beach area and for taking a shower. -hoodie/warm layer you don't mind getting smoky for around the fire. -reusable water bottle/camp mug -bug spray -sunscreen -flashlight -sunglasses
The ceremony will take place outside at the camp's amphitheater. Please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear. The cocktail hour will be outside on the deck and the reception will be held inside the dining hall.
This is an unplugged ceremony. We ask that you put your phones away and allow our photographers to do their thing! Our grand officiant, Tina Clay, will let you know if there is an opportunity to snap a quick pic.
Beverages for our cocktail hour and reception will be self serve. Please be sure to mention your favorite canned drink on your RSVP!
They are summer camp cabins with twin beds and electricity. You may be sharing a cabin with other guests you know and all the cabins have showers a short walk away. We suggest bringing some flip flops and a bag to carry your items in. You will receive a map upon arrival with all the key spots.
Cell phone service is limited/non existent near camp, so be sure to save the directions to your phone or print them ahead of time. From Maine: Take 95 South, crossing into New Hampshire. Take exit 2 to 101 West. Merge on to 93 North. Take the exit for 89 North. Use exit 5 towards Henniker (exit is on the left) and merge on to 202 W/NH Rt 9. Continue on Route 9 for 15 miles. Take a right onto NH 31 N. Turn left onto Windsor Road and continue on until you take a left onto Black Pond Road. Less than a mile down Black Pond Road, you'll see the sign for Windsor Mountain Camp. You have arrived! From Boston: Take 93 N, crossing into NH. Merge onto 89 N and continue on to exit 5 for Henniker/Keene (exit is on the left). Merge on to 202 W/NH Rt 9. Continue on Route 9 for 15 miles. Take a right onto NH 31 N. Turn left onto Windsor Road and continue on until you take a left onto Black Pond Road. Less than a mile down Black Pond Road, you'll see the sign for Windsor Mountain Camp. You have arrived!
