Maid of Honor
Tia is my older sister, and from as far back as I can remember, I wanted to be just like her when I grew up. Then she became an engineer, and I quickly realized I might have to dream a little differently! Despite our eight-and-a-half-year age gap, you'd never guess how close we are. She’s not just my sister, but one of my best friends, my biggest supporter, and someone I can always count on. Now, she’s about to bless me with my first nephew, and I couldn't be more excited. I feel so incredibly grateful to not only be a part of this beautiful journey with her, but also to have her by my side as I step into this new chapter of my life. Her support and love mean the world to me, especially as I get married and begin this next adventure.
Bridesmaid
Hailey has been my absolute best friend since third grade, though before that, I’m pretty sure we may have hated each other. It’s funny how, sometimes, the most unexpected situations can lead to the most beautiful friendships. Forced into the same homeroom and teaming up to cheat on exams might not sound like the best start, but little did we know, those moments would lay the foundation for an unbreakable bond. We've navigated the ups and downs of growing up side by side, and I honestly can’t imagine any of those moments without her. Watching her marry the love of her life and become an amazing mother to the sweetest little girl has been such an incredible part of our journey. Now, as I stand here preparing to take the same steps, I can't wait for her to be right there beside me, witnessing this next chapter in my life.
Bridesmaid
Leanna has effortlessly woven herself into the fabric of my life, and even though we couldn’t be more different, our friendship has become one of the most important parts of who I am. She’s the extrovert to my introvert, the spark of energy that pulls me out of my shell, encouraging me to embrace new experiences and to be braver than I ever thought possible. When I first walked into FW Webb, I never imagined that a job would lead me to one of the most meaningful friendships I’ve ever known. And now, here we are—preparing to be bridesmaids in each other’s weddings, a beautiful reminder of the journey we’ve shared. I am filled with excitement and gratitude as I think about all the moments ahead of us, side by side, supporting each other through every adventure life has in store.
Bridesmaid
Kiana is my cousin, but to me, she’s always felt like the little sister I never had. Our bond is something truly special—one of those rare connections that words can barely capture. The saying 'cousins by chance, best friends by choice' fits us perfectly, but it doesn’t even begin to describe the depth of our relationship. In no other life could I have imagined someone who understands me as completely as she does. We’re truly two peas in a pod, sharing laughter, secrets, and memories that have shaped who we are today. I am beyond proud to call her family, but even more so to have her standing by my side as my bridesmaid. She means more to me than words can say.
Best Man
Mora and I became close during our deployment to Africa, and that bond only grew when we got back and became roommates for a year—until Vanessa came along and kicked him out. He’s been one of my closest friends ever since—someone I can always count on to make me laugh, and the only person who truly speaks my language: memes. Vanessa’s always had a love/hate relationship with that… mostly love.
Groomsman
Tyler and I grew up together in Ashland, and from the start, we were inseparable. Whether we were jumping his Ranger in the sawdust pits or out fishing, we always ended up laughing until there were tears in our eyes. Tyler wasn’t just a friend—he was family. The kind of once-in-a-lifetime person who brought joy and energy wherever he went. I’m so grateful to have shared a lifetime of memories with him, and I’ll carry those with me always
Groomsman
Harris and I really became close when he started sneaking me into bars when I first joined the unit. We were unstoppable together—always tearing up the dance floor, living for those wild nights. But time has passed, and now we’ve both become a little more like old men, letting the younger guys take over the town. Even though we’ve slowed down, Harris is still one of those rare people you can talk to about anything. The kind of guy you can have a conversation with, and before you know it, hours have flown by without even realizing it. He’s one of those friends that truly makes life better just by being around.
Groomsman
David and I became friends when I was transferred to his platoon a few years into my time in the Guard, and from that moment, I knew I had found someone truly dependable. He’s the kind of person who will always have your back, no questions asked. Even though he’d never admit it, David’s got the biggest heart, and he’d give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. There’s a quiet strength about him, but beneath that tough exterior is someone who cares deeply. He’s counting down the days until he can leave the Army behind and finally let his mullet grow free—because we all know that’s been his dream the whole time.
