After moving to Evansville for work, Jessica ended up being Tyler's next-door neighbor. The first message Tyler sent her read: "We watch 14News at the station during dinner and I've thought that you looked so familiar so many times. I think you're my neighbor...Timbers?" From there, Jessica had to make the first move, of course, and ask Tyler to lunch. The rest is history.

Garden Of The Gods, a hiking area in Herod, Illinois, quickly became the couple's favorite spot to be together. With dozens of trips over a year & a half, Tyler proposed on May 1, 2022, overlooking their favorite local view. It was a shocked but quick "yes" from the bride-to-be.
