Santiago and Costanza met in the spring of 2017 at the University of Florida. What began as a sweet and easy friendship quickly turned into a short-lived romance. It wasn’t the right time for their love to grow, but their friendship never wavered. They stayed present in each other’s lives—through thoughtful conversations, shared moments, and “friendship dates” that always felt a little extra special. In 2020, as the world shut down, both began their graduate programs—Santiago at Georgetown Law and Costanza at NYU. They kept in touch occasionally, but it wasn’t until April 2021, when Santiago visited New York for his cousin’s birthday, that everything changed. They met on a rooftop in the city, and that weekend—filled with movies, tourist adventures, and hours of catching up—sparked something undeniable. After that visit, they became inseparable. Zoom calls turned into long nights of talking, studying, and simply being there for each other. By that summer, they decided to give their love a real chance. For nearly three years, they navigated a long-distance relationship—traveling between DC, New York, and Miami, finding joy in every visit and comfort in every call. In February 2024, they began the next chapter under one roof in Jacksonville, Florida. Exactly one year later, Santiago proposed, and now they are thrilled to celebrate this special day with all of their friends and family. Their story has taken time, a few unexpected turns, and a lot of love—but they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Se conocieron en la primavera de 2017 en la Universidad de Florida. Lo que empezó como una amistad dulce y sencilla se convirtió rápidamente en un romance breve pero especial. Durante casi tres años, mantuvieron una relación a distancia, viajando entre Washington D.C., Nueva York y Miami, disfrutando de cada visita y encontrando consuelo en cada llamada. En febrero de 2024, comenzaron un nuevo capítulo juntos en Jacksonville, Florida. Justo un año después, Santiago le propuso matrimonio a Costanza, y ahora están muy emocionados de celebrar este día tan especial con todos ustedes.
