What is the dress code?

Answer

Cosmic Cocktail Attire. Check out the cocktail attire guide on https://www.guestboard.co/blog/what-is-wedding-cocktail-attire/. Stars, constellations, planets, galaxy – try and wear anything that has these! Colors include: dark navy, navy, pink, dark purple, purple, teal, silver, gold, black... Anything that relates to space!

What are my transportation and parking options?

Answer

We strongly recommend you to carpool, have someone drop you off/pick you up, or Uber/Lyft to The 1909. There are 40 parking spaces in the lot next to the venue. You can also park the streets of Topanga Canyon Blvd.

Question

I don’t know ASL and I want to chat with a deaf person / I know ASL and I want to talk to a non-ASL user. What do I do?

Answer

Have no fear! There will be 3 volunteer interpreters floating between 4:00 – 8:00pm (cocktail hour and dinner time). They will be available to help facilitate conversations. Please be patient with them as they are students and are learning! Be gentle with your feedback ☺ They will be wearing all dark navy or blue attire.

What are the food options?

Answer

It will be a buffet style dinner. There will be gluten free, vegetarian, salmon, steak, chicken, various salads, and delicious side options! YUM!

Is there an open bar?

Answer

YES! No charge for drinks and limited quantity available. Be sure to tip the bartender nicely ;) Don’t go too crazy!

May I use my cellphone to record/take pictures the ceremony?

Answer

NO! We want your full attention and presence during the ceremony. We will have a photographer/videographer, so we got you covered!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both =) The ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner are outdoors. The reception is inside.
