What started as a simple facebook add that turned into this love story that we have today. My aunt Nancy is the one to thank for all of this. She met Cory at a concert and asked me if I was single. I added Cory on facebook not knowing if he would accept or if it would go anywhere. One add turned into messages that turned to texts that turned to calls and before we knew it we were going on our first date a month later. From our first date in August of 2017 to our proposal in May of 2023 that time has been nothing short of amazing. We both knew early on that we were going to be together forever. Through these last 6 years we have experienced some amazing times but also some sad times. We have been there for each other as we both lost a parent to cancer, as we got custody of his girls, I gained a career, my daughter graduated high school, his daughter went to middle school, from gymnastic nights to softball games to everything in between. I would have never believed 6 years ago that we would have this wonderful blended family that we do today. To say we are excited to marry each other in front of the people we love the most is an understatement. We are thrilled for this day and the many more that come after.
