We met at a mutual friend's wedding. It started at the corn hole boards with a fist bump and ended with exchanging numbers. I was being a goof ball in the middle of the dance floor, slow dancing by myself and he came out of no where, swept me off my feet and that is when we shared our first dance. We became to know one another with the question and answer game and once the song ended I didn't see him the rest of the night. At the end of the night, I was in my car about to leave the party and I stopped to say one last good bye to the bride and groom. Mr. Fowler came up to my car window and asked me when he would see me again and if he could have my phone number and the rest is history.
We decided to take one last adventure before summer was over and went camping with our four month old puppy at Mohican State Park. We woke up nice and early Saturday morning to hike throughout the park all day. As we started out Cory was on a mission to show me this water fall he had heard about. We had woods to our right and a river to our left. We came to a spot where you could walk down off the path to a landing on the river. Cory asked if we could check it out so of course we walk down there and I thought it was such a perfect spot for a picture. I am trying to take a picture all while he is trying to propose to me. He caught my attention when he pulled out a box from his pocket and got down on one knee. I couldn't see because of the tears pouring from my eyes and was absolutely speechless, I somehow managed to get the word YES out. He stood up to give me a kiss and wrap me in his arms when he let go he pointed over to his friend who was hiding, videotaping the entire thing. Earlier in the week they went down there to pick out the most perfect spot and planned the entire thing. It was and forever will be my favorite trip with him.
