Broad Ripple Village
Here is a list of our favorite places and things to do in our neighborhood! Monon Trail This is a 26 mile walking/running/biking trail stretching from downtown Indianapolis to Hamilton County. It runs right through Broad Ripple. There are many shops/restaurants along the trail in Broad Ripple. Half Liter House Casual BBQ Restaurant with a large beer garden. Located along the Monon Trail. 5302 Winthrop Avenue Flatwater Casual American restaurant on the Broad Ripple Canal with outdoor patio and bar where there is often live music. If there is a wait, you can still grab a drink at the outdoor bar and hang out until your table is ready. 832 E. Westfield Blvd Perk Up Local coffee shop with walk up window. We often stop here on the weekends while walking the dogs. 6536 Cornell Ave Ripple Bagel & Deli Compact counter-serve stop featuring a variety of DELICIOUS, steamed bagel sandwiches. Pro tip: Order ahead of time. It can be quite the wait on weekends! 850 Broad Ripple Ave
Downtown
We love to visit the following in and around downtown Indy! Mass Ave. Check out this popular street with many restaurants/bars and shops. Our favorites include the Eagle for the best chicken sandwiches, Garden Table for brunch, and Homespun (local shop). Bottleworks District The Bottleworks District on North Mass Ave is a hub for lodging, entertainment, and commerce with an abundant selection of food; something for everyone. Visit the Garage Food Hall that houses various local food vendors and Pins Mechanical Co., a social destination featuring duckpin bowling, pinball, craft beers and classic cocktails. Indianapolis Canal Walk The Downtown Canal's is a beautiful, 3 mile pedestrian loop. It is dotted with pedal boats and gondolas, bicycles, and even Segways.
Carmel, IN
Check out our favorite places in Carmel! Sun King Brewery Great "all-ages" place for food and drinks with a wonderful courtyard to enjoy the outdoors. The courtyard has an outdoor ping pong table, billards, and fooseball table. When we ride our bikes north on the monon, we love to stop here for a beer! 351 Monon Blvd, Carmel, IN 46032 Cake Bake Shop High-end bakery with outdoor seating offering brunch/lunch/dinner, cakes, pastries & high tea service in glam digs. This unique fairytale like atmosphere is one of a kind! There is also a smaller location in Broad Ripple. 799 Hanover Place, Upper Deck, Hanover Place Suite 260, Carmel, IN 46032
