Cory and Shannon met at Towson University. They bumped into each other at a local bar and have been inseparable ever since. They quickly discovered their love for traveling and have spent the last four and a half years exploring the world! Together with their Siberian Husky, Hoochino, they have been to 21/50 of the United States, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Belize, Guatemala, and Iceland. They look forward to celebrating with a few close friends and family members in Lake Tahoe, Nevada in August.

Cory (and Hooch) proposed to Shannon on January 12, 2019. Despite it being the coldest day Maryland has seen this year, Cory insisted on getting outside to take Hooch for a "birthday hike". About 2 miles into their hike, surrounded by trees, Cory got down on one knee and asked to spend the rest of their lives together. Cory proposed with a custom made salt and pepper diamond. Once an undesirable diamond, these stones are now considered unique, rare and imperfect, due to the fact that no two diamonds are ever the same. The "flaws" in the diamond are actually traces of Nitrogen and Carbon. These inclusions give each diamond their own one-of-a-kind color, texture and shape.

Cory and Shannon have decided to host a small, intimate elopement in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. They are very appreciative of your understanding and respect of their decision. They look forward to celebrating with friends and family in Maryland on September 14th. See schedule for more information.
