We met on Hinge in December 2023. We both swiped right after a hard maybe from Montana since she was quite unsure about this Midwestern Iowa country boy. The conversation was pretty one-sided at first, earning Cory the nickname "Rock" for the short responses. We both decided to go out for coffee at a commonly known study spot that Montana frequented. Montana was using the date as a way to get more dating experience, as she thought there would be other men besides this handsome rock. We both fell in love on the first date, but neither of us wanted to admit it to each other, or thought it possible that one date could be the end of first dates. It wasn't until the third date when violence was involved, "axe throwing", that they knew they were meant for each other. You can tell that the rest is history, as we will gather together to bring these two lovebirds into marriage.
