There are multiple lovely vineyards in Tehachapi to go and explore, as well as hiking trails, a train museum and a local farmer's market! 
Night life or family entertainment will mostly be found in Bakersfield, here are some of the local spots we like to go to! 
Side note, if you're going to be in town on or before Friday night, there's always something going on down town at Ally Cat's or Jerry's Pizza
