Many of the places we recommend and the tourist favorites--museums and the famous sites--are on TripAdvisor.com for Chicago. You can start there.
But you can't leave Chicago without seeing Lake Michigan and the park, eating Chicago style pizza (Lou Malnatti's!) and other ethnic foods, taking the architecture boat tour down the Chicago River, shopping along Michigan Ave., experiencing the kindness of the people here,
or just exploring.
