What is the dress code?

We invite guests to wear their favorite dressy attire—think what you'd wear to a special church service, family celebration, or festive occasion.

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

YES! The bride and groom understand the time of year and the chance of snowfall - it is encouraged! The ceremony will last roughly 25-30 minutes, and guests are asked to plan for the Colorado weather and enjoy the beauty at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Should the weather truly be uncooperative, there is a backup option in place. The dinner reception and following celebration will be held indoors.

Will there be transportation services to and from the venue?

Answer

No, because a majority of our out-of-town guests will be booking their own lodging experiences, arranging for a shuttle service was out of the question. Fortunately, there is plenty of parking at the venue site, with a parking garage offering some covered spots in the event of weather.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Welcome to Colorado - your guess is likely as good as ours! While we are hoping for some light snowfall, we can get anywhere from mid 50's and sunshine to blizzard conditions. December 10th last year had temperatures nearing 60 degrees, while the year before had about 5" of snow! We will try to keep guests as up to date regarding the forecast; be sure to check back here closer to the big day!

Yes! We are delighted to welcome children to our wedding and look forward to celebrating with guests of all ages.

Is Altitude Sickness real?

Answer

YES! Golden, Colorado sits at approximately 5,780 ft above sea level, while the venue site sits even higher, roughly 6,280 ft. It is HIGHLY recommended to start hydrating three days before joining us on our special day.

We are lucky to provide an immaculate buffet style dinner that will leave guests of all taste types feeling satisfied. Any dietary restrictions or common allergens will be listed.
