Love History or Culture?
Coba is an ancient Maya city. It will take about 2 hours by bus to visit, so plan on spending the day! The resort will have excursions and can recommend, answer questions or book for you!
Want to swim with sea turtles?
We did this on our last trip! It will take you about 90 minutes to get there- so plan for half a day. You can use a guide and book a tour or just take a taxi and plan it when you arrive. There are beautiful beaches, clear waters and plenty of sea turtles! *we opted for a guide when we arrived, but no official tour
Love to snorkel?
Puerto Morelos is about a half hour away. You can go and see the world's second largest reef system! If you're going without a guide, hop in right in front of Hotel Amar Inn and Day & Night Beach Club.
Feeling a bit rowdy?
You can take the UltraMar Ferry across (only 20 minutes!) and visit. You can rent a golf cart once you arrive and start enjoying the beach, tackling your bucket list, or drinking in the many bars it has to offer.
