This is a great free zoo and large park with a lovely conservatory in Saint Paul. Laura obviously loves the conservatory.

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

Beautiful gardens, walking paths, and a 3-mile drive. This is not a free arboretum, but definitely worth seeing. It is also where Laura's office is for her new job. :)
