Follow gravel road for 2 miles and at the lake turn right and go up over Pucker Butt Hill. It is steep but manageable. At the top it takes a sharp right. Follow the dirt road around the parking sign.
1-5/Hwy 80 to Why 50 East towards Placerville. Continue on Why 50 to the Sly Park exit. At the stop sign turn right and go to Sly Park Reservoir, approximately 4.5 miles.
