Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP as soon as you can so that we can organize with our vendors. However, the deadline is August 17th.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal cocktail attire for our big day. For men, this would be a button down and dress pants. A bow-tie, tie, jacket or full suit is not necessary but please do not wear jeans. For women, think cocktail midi dress, skirt and blouse, nice pants or maxi dress. Please refrain from wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, creams or ivory. Color Disclaimer: While you are welcome to wear it, the bridal party will be in dark green. The ceremony and cocktail hour are outside in grass and gravel so appropriate footwear is suggested.

What if i cannot attend?

Answer

Your presence will be missed! We ask that you RSVP as soon as possible. If you have already RSVP'd "Yes" but find that you will not be able to make it please notify the bride or groom ASAP as seating will be predetermined and we can make adjustments as necessary.

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity we are not able to accommodate plus ones, we thank you for understanding.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm, please arrive by 4:10pm to give yourself time to park and find seating so that no one is walking down the aisle after the bride. If you find yourself arriving late, please hang around and join us at cocktail hour following the ceremony.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, due to the safety and capacity of the venue we cannot accommodate to have them attend any part of the night.

Where can I stay?

Answer

We greatly appreciate you traveling to our wedding! We suggest booking ASAP as Shenandoah Valley is very popular that time of year due to the changing colors of the fall foliage. There are many rentals on VRBO or Airbnb available, we also have two hotel blocks that you can check out on the Travel page. If you are looking to stay at an Airbnb or VRBO please search within the town of Linden, Virginia or Front Royal, Virginia.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones are put away during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer who will be there to capture all ceremony moments. Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you wish during the rest of the night!

Where is the venue?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held at Blue Mountain Lodge, located at 540 Cliff Rd, Linden VA 22642. There is parking at the venue, please note that there is limited parking right by the entrance so if anyone will need assistance with mobility please contact the bride or groom ahead of time.
